I think it's just amazing how some of these polls seem to hit the core pretty straight forward and others are just gibberish.

Yeah, when I read your poll yesterday I thought: gosh, that's true! - and that made me wanting to try it myself, even though I don't know "Lord of the Rings" yet. But know I feel I have to find out who Galadriel acutally is...
Hihi ... I've been told it's essential to skip the first part of the book and only start when Frodo and Sam leave the Shire (I can fill you in on what happens before that).
Otherwise - as I've been told - you'd just quit somewhere in the middle of the first part and never make it anywhere near the end.
Apart from that, I could also lend you the DVDs (or we could watch them together ... in summer ... for example)!
